How does a PA get paid?
Great question! Brett charges based on contingency. That means he only gets paid if he achieves an insurance payment for you. Based on the claim complexity and availability of other entities, a reasonable fee of the total insurance claim is agreed upon before entering into a PA contract. After the claim is settled, you pay our nominal fee from the settlement funds received. The rest is yours to complete the work! There are NO OTHER COSTS ASSOCIATED. NONE!
Brett is also very proud of his high success rate with claims. He only takes on clients he believes he has a good chance of achieving the desired end state. However, Brett does not accept or reject clients based on projected dollar amount. He feels that everyone, whether they live in a $15 million mansion or a modest 1 bedroomstudio apartment, deserves fair and reasonable treatment.
Think there's a catch? Too good to be true? As Brett says, "If your home has been damaged, it's NOT good. And you signed a legally binding contract with your insurance company where they promise to pay the cost of damages. That's 100% true. The catch is ensuring your insurance company does the right thing and holds up their end of the agreement after you've faithfully paid premiums every year." Enter the realm of the Public Adjuster.
Did you know the typical Public Adjuster fee is 25-35% of the total claim? While this often allows you to still perform most required renovations without digging into your own pocket too much, it can sometimes leaves large gaps. At Creations Glory Public Adjusting, we think that isn't fair or reasonable to you, the homeowner. We strive to keep our adjusting fees low so you end up with more money to make your home whole after a major event.
